Derek Handley

Prior to serving on the CTC staff, Derek worked for KLIFE (a ministry of Kanakuk) as a Regional Director overseeing eight chapters in three different states from 2021-23 and as an Area Director in Oklahoma City, OK from 2018-21. Derek and Mikala are graduates of The Kanakuk Institute and they both received their degrees at University of Central Missouri. They co-lead the Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle group while at UCM.

Mikala is a Registered Nurse and works at St. Luke's East Hospital as a NICU nurse. Their daughter Rowan Gray Handley was born on June 11, 2022.
